The College of Health Sciences has organised a day’s workshop on sensitization and training on the use of assessment tools for faculty of the College of Health Sciences.
Opening the workshop, the Provost, Rev. Prof. Patrick F. Ayeh-Kumi urged the Faculty to take advantage of the training and acquaint themselves with the new assessment tools the University has introduced in order to be able to assess themselves to know their readiness for promotion and also their colleagues.
The facilitator of the workshop, Prof. John Fletcher of the College of Education, University of Ghana, said the workshop was meant to help the participants’ identity different ways teaching could be done. He also urged the participants to be serious with the workshop as it will go a long way to help them.
A total of about 60 faculty members participated in the workshop.
