Mr. Yaw Agyemang Duah

Mr. Yaw Agyemang-Duah is a Chemical Engineer with Marketing and Finance skills. He is the former Managing Director of Ghana Oil Company Limited (GOIL) after having been the General Manager and acting Managing Director of the company. During his period at GOIL, he initiated and implemented the rebirth of the company lifting it from a company to be divested, to a profitable company and listing it on the Ghana Stock Exchange. He put the company on a growth and profitable path.

He has been an active player in the petroleum industry and corporate community in Ghana for over fourty years. He played a leading role to set up the petroleum industry advocacy group, the Association of Oil Marketing Companies (AOMCs), which he chaired from its commencement in 2003 when it was formed until he retired from GOIL in 2011.
Prior to joining GOIL, Mr. Agyemang-Duah was Chief Corporate Planning Officer and Export/Import Manager at Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), his responsibilities being, among other things, planning, marketing and international trading of crude oil and petroleum products. He worked at the Ghana Investments Centre (now Ghana Investments Promotion Centre) on project development and promotion before joining GNPC.

He is currently the Chairman of CCL Property Management Limited and PBC Ltd, a director of Akosombo Hotels Limited and Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) as well as an ex-officio member of the Risk Committee of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
Mr. Agyemang-Duah brings to the Board of Trustees significant value.
