Mrs. Yvonne Lartey (Assistant Registrar Academic Affairs-Teaching and Examination Unit)

Mrs. Yvonne Lartey is an Assistant Registrar at the Academic Affairs Unit of the College of Health Sciences in charge of Teaching and Examination.

Before her employment in the University of Ghana in 2011, Mrs. Lartey worked as a Human Rights Officer at the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (Women and Children's Unit) in charge of investigating abuse of human rights and administrative injustices. She was also in charge of enforcing mediation agreements at the Family Tribunal and conducting public educational activities on issues concerning the rights of women and children. She has also served as a volunteer for the Rural Project Support Network and Arocha International.

Mrs. Yvonne Lartey has an MPhil in Development Studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) Trondheim, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana.

She is Secretary to the following Boards and Committees: College Academic Board; Scholarships and Prizes Committee, and the Board of Trustees for the Postgraduate Endowment Fund.

Mrs. Lartey is a member of the Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA); Association of University Administrators (AUD), a Chartered Professional Administrator and Charted Management Consultant of the Charted Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC) Ghana.                                                                                                                                  

Her vision is to work in collaboration with stakeholders of the College/University to enable the College attain its vision of bringing good health, comfort and happiness to people.
