Mr. Poku –Sarkodee is currently the Senior Assistant Registrar at the Academic Affairs Unit of the College. He is in charge Admissions, Students, Records and Services. He has worked with the University for 17 years.     

He entered University of Ghana in 1990 and graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree (second class upper division). Thereafter, he enrolled at the University of Ghana Business School and graduated with Masters in Public Administration in 1998.       

Mr. Sarkodee has professional qualifications in the fields of Chartered Administration (October 2008) and Chartered Management Consultation (November 2009). In 2009 he joined International Professional Managers Association in the United Kingdom and the Global Human Resource Management in India in 2011. He was appointed Assistant Manager of Visa International Limited (1996 -1998).

On February 1st 1999, he was appointed as a Junior Assistant Registrar and was assigned to the Human Resource and organizational Development Directorate. He has also worked at the School of Public Health and the then University of Ghana Dental School of the College of Health Sciences. He has served on several Boards and Committees in the University.
Under the collegiate system of governance, Mr. Sarkodee’s aim is to ensure an effective academic work for the training of the best medical scientists and health workers. His mission for the collegiate system is to have a vibrant Academic Affairs Office that supports academic work to make the University responsive to the needs of the nation and that of the international community.
