The Emmanuel Quaye Archampong (EQA) Library (formerly, College of Health Sciences Library) is part of the University of Ghana Library System (UGLS). It is located on the Korle-Bu campus, on the first floor of the Charles Easmon building. It caters for all the students and faculty of the College of Health Sciences. The library seats one hundred and twenty-eight (128) persons in the main reading area. There is a graduate commons that has a seating capacity of twenty-three (23).
Opening hours
The EQA library operates all year round except on public holidays as follows:
Monday – Friday: 8.30 AM – 10.00 PM
Saturdays: 9.00 AM – 4.00 PM
Sundays: 2.00 PM – 6.00 PM
Library rules and regulations
The library is governed by the following rules and regulations:
- No bags are allowed in the library – they are to be deposited and tagged at the security desk
- No lab coats are allowed in the library
- No receiving or making of calls
- Phones are to be placed on silent mode
- No food or eating in library
- Water allowed in non-spillable bottles
