PhD Clinical Sciences Program issued by the College of Health Sciences is to train Clinicians who are as proficient in Biomedical Research as they are in the clinic and to be internationally recognized leaders in clinical and translational research. Entry requirements: Applicants must hold MB, ChB, BDS or equivalent degrees from a recognized university and must have finished their membership or fellowship. MB, ChB or BDS holders who have chosen research as a career option and not interested in residency may also apply. The program cannot be combined with active residency training prior to membership. Applicants must also be in good standing with the medical and dental council. Duration: The program will run for 4 years full time or 6 years part time as stipulated in the University of Ghana Graduate Studies Handbook.
