INVITATION TO CHS 5TH BIENNIAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE

The College of Health Sciences extends an invitation to Faculty, Staff and Students of the College to its 5th Biennial Scientific Conference under the theme: “Evolving Dynamics of Cancer Epidemiology”. This conference serves as a crucial platform for health professionals, policy makers, industry leaders, and academia to exchange information, share experiences, and discuss results from past and current research.

This Conference aims at expanding the scope of knowledge of health personnel including Doctors, Public Health Practitioners, Nurses, Midwives, Dentists, Dieticians, Pharmacists, Biomedical Scientists and Scientists to enhance their practices and stimulate public debate on the challenges and opportunities in healthcare delivery in the country.

            Time:                      9:00 a.m. each day

            Venue:                       Cedi Conference Centre, University of Ghana, Legon

           Keynote Speaker:      Dr. Mary Efua Commeh, Ghana Health Service

           Chairperson:           Prof. Nana Aba Appiah Amfo, Vice-Chancellor, University of Ghana 

The three-day Conference seeks to be engaging with activities such as presentations from distinguished  speakers, exhibition of scholarly works, scientific sessions, presentation of awards for best posters and networking opportunities with personalities from academia, industry, hospital, community, private organizations and government agencies. We anticipate that this conference will foster the development of policies essential for advancing our health sector and create a conducive environment for high-quality research addressing both local and global needs.
