College of Health Sciences Participates in 3-Day University of Ghana Management Retreat at Senchi resort and Hotel

The College of Health Sciences (CHS) participated actively in a three-day Management Retreat organized by the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana for Senior Management members of the University. The retreat was held from Tuesday, 14th to Thursday, 16th January, 2026, at the Senchi Resort and Hotel, Eastern Region.
The high-level retreat brought together Senior Management, Provosts, Deans, Directors, and College Registrars from across the University to reflect on institutional progress and chart the way forward in alignment with the University’s strategic direction.

The primary objective of the retreat was to demonstrate its commitment to the University’s strategic goals; share best practices and institutional successes; gain clarity on expectations for decentralised implementation of the Strategic Plan; engage with University leadership on future priorities and implementation actions for 2026; assess progress made so far, and outline next steps for effective implementation, with clear actions and expectations for the year under review. The retreat also served as a platform for strategic engagement, peer learning, and alignment of College-level initiatives with the broader University vision.
