The College of Health Sciences in collaboration with the Federation of Ghana Medical Students has organised a Health Walk and Medical Screening to mark the 70th Anniversary of the establishment of the University of Ghana.
The Health walk which coincided with the Health week Celebration of the Federation of Ghana Medical Students started from the University of Ghana Sports Complex to the Accra Mall.
Medical Students from the College of Health Sciences, University of Ghana, Family Health Medical School, Accra College of Medicine, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, University of Health and Allied Health Sciences participated in the walk and Medical Screening exercise.
At the Accra Mall, participants of the walk were taken through some aerobic exercises by gym instructors from Decathlon Ghana.
Some patrons of the Mall were screened for blood pressure; Hepatitis B, Malaria, blood grouping, blood glucose, and body mass index (BMI).In all about 100 people were screened.
