Dear faculty, staff, students, alumni of all schools/institute/centres and units of the College, esteemed partners and stakeholders, I bring you good tidings of great joy for the season. 

As we rejoice and embrace the warmth of the holiday season, I am elated to wish all staff and partners of the College of Health Sciences, a Merry Christmas with immense gratitude for undertaking numerous research, transformative educational activities and pursuing result-oriented administrative duties. The year 2024 has been a testament to our collective commitment, resilience, and unwavering devotion to excellence. Together, we have traversed challenges (we endured a couple of industrial actions), chalked successes, and nurtured the next generation of healthcare professionals in the face of adversity. Your hard work and dedication, throughout the year have not gone unnoticed, and we greatly appreciate your sacrifice for working almost round the clock as required by many units in the College of Health Sciences. 

To our brilliant students, your relentless pursuit of knowledge and determination to make a difference in your chosen professions and training are inspiring. Your enthusiasm and dedication to your studies have been admirable.

To our invaluable stakeholders, i.e. alumni and partners, your continuous support, collaboration, and trust in our mission have been instrumental in providing quality education and services to our students. Some alumni groups contributed to improving teaching and learning facilities and supported renovation of aspects of the living areas for our students. These efforts are really a show of your interest and quest for improving the experience of our students while they are with us. The support of all other partners fuels our innovation and strengthens our resolve to make a meaningful impact in the field of healthcare and service.

Together, the College of Health Sciences have achieved remarkable milestones this year. Each success, no matter how big or small, is a testament to our collective strength and unwavering commitment to excellence. As the year draws to a close and the New Year beckons, let us in the spirit of the reason for the season, spare some thoughts and resources to support the College of Health Sciences to advance its objective in the coming years. 

May this festive season be filled with joy, love, and moments of peace for you and your families.
